Schedule your shoot when you’re not too busy, but not when it’s empty (unless you have special clients that you are inviting to the shoot, to represent your customer base).
All persons appearing in video must sign a release. This includes parents of anyone under 18 years of age.
Have this release signed and ready for your filmmaker on the day of the shoot.
Choose the space that best represents your business. Interviews should be conducted in a quiet and controlled environment. The Shoot is limited to 60–90 minutes in one location. Additional locations or Re-Shoots are reviewed on a case by case basis and if approved, will incur additional fees.
We recommend using the Q&A method. Provide your filmmaker with 5–7 questions to ask you about your business and what makes it unique. Practice your answers or write a 60 – 90-second script highlighting your best business facts. Be Prepared. Complete the Production Outline & Practice your Interview topics before your Shoot and discuss these items with your filmmaker upon arrival.
During the Shoot
Your Shoot will happen at a single location, and last 60–90 minutes and will include 20–30 minutes time with your filmmaker to ask questions, review your production outline, request specific shots, and complete the interview.
